BC Lake Monster attack!
Hi everyone it's Casey here with our TGIF continuing Adventures of Casey and Kiddo. It is hard to believe that this month is soon over as we head into October, and the wedding of my Frother SKY to the lovely Miss Big Baby.
"Little ANGEL!!" Casey screams as loudly as he can, " SWIM, MONSTER!!"
Little Angel is simply having too much fun bouncing her go-kart-boat in the BC Lake to pay any mind to those watching on shore.
Dixie terrified and trembling with the worst fright he has ever eggspierienced screeches out his loud Conure screech to Little Angel, who is oblivious to the dangers lurking just behind her on the lake! "Little ANGELLLLL! SWIMMMMM for your life right NOW!!!!!" Casey,Kiddo and Queen Muffin,Ms Chirps and Dixie all set their specific alarm calls out across the lake waters to Little Angel who has no intentions of coming in as she bobs up and down on her go-cart boat!Dixie scolds in his shrillest voice to Little Angel that this is NOT fun! As all the friends on the lakeshore are trying to get Little Angel to listen to them, the Lake Monster is coming sooo much closer to Little Angel.
The Lake Monster swims smoothly across the waters stopping a few feet away from Little Angel. SLOWLY, it creeps forward inch by inch until it is only a bare foot away. Little Angel suddenly feels its hot breath blowing onto her feathers and startled she snaps around to face it. The Lake Monster opens it's large toothy mouth and reaches down towards Little Angel.
On shore Casey, Kiddo, Dixie and the others can't watch as they see what is about to happen. Dixie closes his eyes tight in fear. Casey stands beak open, frozen with fear. No birdie can move or make a sound.
Little Angel stares at the huge, Lake Monster as it reach for her tiny birdie self on her go-kart boat. Stomping her foot she jumps at it, biting it square on the nose. The terrified Monster let's out a frightened scream "HELPPPPPP, the bird is after me!!"
Little Angel let's go, as tears well up in the Lake Monsters big eyes. "Come here" she says softly. The giant reaches cautiously down towards her until his face is inches away. Little Angel leans forward and kisses the red, swollen BOO-BOO on his nose. " I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that" She gives him a hug and wipes his tears from his eyes.
On shore the others open their eyes fearing the worse. All they see is the huge Lake Monster and a now empty go-kart bobbing in the water. "OH NO, it ate Little Angel" They stand looking sadly out into the lake. Suddenly the Lake Monster takes off at top speed across the water. Little Angel holds on tightly to her new friend, squealing happily as they do several laps around the lake.
"Look" screams Casey to Dixie and Kiddo, pointing to the place where Little Angel is sitting on the back of the monster's scaly neck, waving her wings in delight. She's ok. "I hope she doesn't hurt him"......
see you tomorrow
