Hi, Blue and Jewel
Guess eggstra time must be needed with the older baby since he suddenly decided to be scared/mean/stubborn what have you about being a good birdie. Still young so plenty of time to get tame.

The parronts were looking forward to seeing the brussel sprouts grow too, but maybe dad will try again next year. One year he grew eggplant even though only dad sorta likes it. Mom used it mostly in lasagna for him. Fortunately, the neighbors love eggplant and took all we'd give 'em so they were not wasted. Right now the green beans are beginning to produce and the pumpkins are getting big. There's also some mystery melons and not sure what variety it is yet. It'll be awhile before the broccoli forms.

Got some rain yesterday afternoon. After awhile the sun came out. Temps were nice and no humidity.

Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
