Hi Sophie
Mom has a old sheer panel curtain around two sides of my condo and that helps with the juice splatters not going on the wall and curtains. Mom just ties them on the bars by the food bowls. She tosses it in the washer and puts it back on and works pretty good too. My condo is in the dining room too by the dining room table where the parronts eat so when they eat I do too since its a flock thing. yes it would be hard to give away a fid no matter who it was to it was going to..sure understand that well. Mom figures if she gets another fid then I would have more issues maybe and got her hands full with me. Chi chi always bit mom but was an easy going fid and not like I am so she accepted me when I moved in but not so sure I would do that if a new fid moved in now.
The nice weather sure is great to have here lately and think we are getting a tad spoiled with it LOL. The last three days mom takes the newspaper out on the porch to read and I get to enjoy the sun a bit which is good for my feathers too. The nights are chilly and so is early morning and lots of fog too but once that lifts off the sun comes out and by 11 it’s a beautiful day. The other day mom sat in a chair by my outside cage and darn near fell asleep and said it just felt so good on her body. Then yesterday dad joined us a bit and mom had to go in to get supper and pretty soon she wondered where dad went and looked out and he was fast asleep on the porch swing LOL. Must of made him tired too. “May your pockets be heavy, your heart be light. May good luck find you each morning and night. May you have all the happiness life can hold. May all your rainbows end with a pot of gold!” V4U ~ your friend, Gus. (RIP Chi chi).
