Hi Blue ♥
you are so right, mom would have loved the botanical gardens. She loves flowers and birds and animals. That is funny that your dad got bit, that sounds exactly like what would happen to my

That's okay, that happens to my mom too, no worries here. We were together and that is all that mattered. All the racers did a great job and yes, it was nice to see Cookie win, he is a great friend to my fister, Chloe.

I wanted to stop by and give you a great big kiss and keep you up to date on what's happening with my mom so here goes...

Mom had two cortisone/steroid shots on Tuesday, one in both shoulders and she is hurting so a c/p is in order for mom. Those shots hurt like heck, I would use a stronger word but mom won't let me swear. On the first shot he had mom breathe during the procedure but it was hard to do at first and mom screamed but she started to laugh through the pain when she saw dad, he was breathing along with mom and he couldn't look at mom due to the needle. On her left shoulder the doc didn't want mom to breathe, he was afraid that she might pass out so when this needle went in they heard mom out in the hallway. Hopefully, this will eventually help with the pain.

My mom sure doesn't want to have any surgeries. The doc thinks that mom's issues with her shoulders etc. originally began when mom started using the walkers and just got worse over time.

Well, the parronts were up really early yesterday to get on the road, mom was up at 4am and we were up at 4:30am, much to early...They were out the door by 5:30am and got home around 6pm.

This was the worst trip mom has ever had, she was hurting all the way there and all the way back. Her foot was killing her she told dad it felt like there were ants with razor blades on their feet walking all over her foot and up her leg from the inside, and both her shoulders were hurting big time and she just felt bad and her face was flushed/hot. She is feeling a little better now that she is home, so another short night for mom...

The walkers are good but it depends on how you use the walker, mom had only the one leg she could use so she had to put so much pressure on the walker to get around and she did that for 3 years. She should have had a power chair a long time ago.

Mom's doctor told her that they would chip away at her problems and mom told him to chip, he has a sense of humor and mom can talk to him. She told him it was pretty bad when she had to have dad put her bra on and dress her since she couldn't do it because of the pain it caused.

Mom was watching TV and blogging and relaxing while dad is asleep in his chair last night.

Mom had a crappy night and didn't get much sleep, up a lot with pain. Acckkkkk.

Hopefully, things will resolve and she'll start to feel better in a few more days...

Today, was not a good day either...for some reason, mom's back decided to start hurting...she is falling apart...

Moogie is a brave birdie coming over
