Hi, Chica
Sure hope that squawkiness is gone for a long time. Very annoying yesterday, but guess it wasn't too surprising since so many birds have had problems off/on for a while now, just hadn't affected us.

Our mom isn't handy with making things either. Yours could just use a regular small bath towel, kitchen towel, whatever is a good size to cover the arms or the back part where a fid wants to sit/ride with your mom. Is the chair cloth? Our mom uses diaper pins to hold the couch arm covers on, heehee.

All meds have side effects it seems. Perhaps she'll need to try something different that doesn't 'cause all that those aches.

Still warmish here. Was just a tad humid so possible rain is forecast thought we eggspect if it does mostly will be north of us.

Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote for our big beautiful protector and friend, love Pearl and Silver. ♥
