Hi Cheeta...a nice bath is always good and towel surfing, well that's even better. We've been having the same weather here. The parents are taking a long weekend to Newport, RI this weekend so we are off to be boarded for 2 nights. We are not happy about it, but it's better then the usual 10 or 12 nights.
Car sick, yes, I do get car sick. Peeps is lucky and does not. Here's our latest strategy that seems to be the culmination of 7 years of trial and error. First, mom won't feed me if she knows we are going somewhere. Then about 15 min before the trip she feeds me a piece of candied ginger. We've tried tea, real ginger, whatever ginger. This ginger has sugar on it so even though it's gross and I don't like it, I do try to take a few nibbles of it because I like sugar and candy. Next she got me my own carrier. Peeps and I used to travel together and because I was stressed out I used to attack her. So now I get my own carrier and she covers it with a towel. And so far I've not gotten sick when we do this routine. I used to look out the window and was just so over stimulated by moving cars and stuff maybe its the covering that does it, or maybe it relaxes me more. So I hope that helps you. I usually even get sick before we get in the car, so mom thinks I am a mental case. But our last trip to the beach was a little different. It is a 1.5 hr trip and it was getting dark and when it did I cried the whole time so mom put her hand in my carrier and I clung to it and then climbed on her shoulder and cuddled her neck for about 45 min of the trip. I didn't even potty once. She was very happy for that. Peeps just fell asleep in her carrier. But I didn't get sick and I got to be in the driver's seat. Mom was sure if a cop had seen us we'd a gotten pulled over. lol
We can't believe you are attacking the kitties!!! You go, girl. They are supposed to attack you. I guess you want them out, huh? Time your mom spends with kitties is less time with Cheeta, right? Tell your mom. You are so funny. Love, Pickles
