Happy 1st Day of October, Miss Ronnie!
So you've got a toy that's a whole lot bigger than you are. Well, that means you have a lot of entertainment! That's funny about the puppy chewing more than you three birds combined. Our pug dog got busted chewing on the corner of the ottoman; she really tore up the material which didn't make mom happy at all. A bird would never do anything like that. he hee hee Yeah, right. I think your little beak can put a world of hurt on that big toy. You show'em, Veronica!

Life has taken an odd turn here. Even though it's still really warm out and only slightly cool at night, little by little us parakeets are being caught and taken into the house. Since not a one of us step up willingly and go into the travel cage (are you kidding? no way!), we're literally captured with a butterfly net. So far I've evaded getting caught so I'm one of the five still out in the Bird Barn. It's weird though, with only us few in the 'keet pen. I'm used to there being 18 of us! We'll see if I manage to evade capture tomorrow and Thursday. Friday though I think mom will work at catching all of us no matter what because Saturday is supposed to be only 67° and damp which is not perfect for 'keets to be outside. You watch though, we'll all get moved inside and the week after will be back in the 80s and perfect for parakeets to be outside.

Good luck on that Toby-toy!

Hugs to you, my friend.
