Hi Miss Lalo! Thirty Temps Already!!? We Thought
....the 50's was cold! Yep, I would have been one big puff ball with those temps!
I have had one BIG busy day! Mom's was even busier! First thing this morning I was allowed out & had breakfast with Mom. She fixed me some oaty cereal that had almond slivers in it, then I was presented with scrambled eggs! I was one happy bird! Mom cleaned up as I got busy with putting all the bottle caps back into the water. Mom watched me float around some caps then scoop them out & drink water out of them. I really like doing that! Mom was busy being very noisy cleaning some more. It seemed like just a little while & she came back in here & made me some lunch. It was cornbread & some fresh veggies. Then that phone rang & before I could finish my grapes, I had to go back inside because Mom had to leave the house.

When she finally came home, she had some groceries for her and for ME!! She stopped by the Parrot University & found some cool stuff. Some new foot toys, two perches because I ate my cotton woven perch into a swing & it's hangin' by a thread now. She bought one of those types that looks like a small "U". Do you understand my meaning? Yes, it's a colorful cotton, bendable perch. She's wondering to put it on top of my cage or change out a different perch & use it for a perch at my foraging boxes. Decisions…decisions! Well, Mom also brought home some of that "Just Veggies" for me! The extra spicy type! Of all the surprises I liked the most, Mom cooked herself some pasta tonight & for me, mixed in these spicy veggies! I peeped my thank you then Mom only saw tail feathers straight up until there wasn't anything left!

Tonight, I wanted Mom to snuggle & give me some scritches. She did that until I closed my eyes. I liked taking a nap on the crook of Mom's arm. I've never done this before!! But I'm liking it. When it was good & dark Mom told me it was night night time. Well, DUH!! I thought she was going to be my perch for the rest of the night. She said PsychoPuff would soon be moving in on that snuggle thing. I can't believe Mom snuggles that fur ball! I know I'm much softer than that cat! Sam sighs……I know I can imitate purring. It's just so….degrading.

I hope the start of your weekend was a good as mine! Tomorrow is the day Mr. Sky & Ms. B.B. are getting married! WooHoo! I hope to see you there! Hugs, SamIAm
