Hey Sweetheart!
I apologize for not being around much. Mom is doing her best to keep up with BOTD and BOTM and a blog here or there as well as all the things she has to do here. Her fibro is very, very bad and she now has been given a new anti-inflammatory along with an increase in her current med. She sometimes feels like she has had too much to drink - not good but it may have begun to kick in just a bit to the point that not everything is causing pain. You probably didn't want to hear all that, sorry! Please tell your mom we will all be thinking about her doctor's visit on Tuesday and hoping for the best. What kind of surgery is she having and when? We want to be able to send prayers specifically on that day - of course, all days too!
I so understand that your mom is happier without worrying about selling the house right now. Even though we most likely will not be listing until January, the parronts need that time just to get stuff cleaned out - a huge and daunting challenge.
I would love to go the Thirsty Parrot with you. What a great idea. I do so miss seeing you as often as we used to. Would your mom mind picking me up? The parronts have a meeting to go to at 7. If she wouldn't mind that would be so awesome!! I can't wait to see you, handsome!
Mom and Dad have found a little city called Granbury. It is Southwest of Dallas and just 2 1/2 hours away from her mom and dad in College Station. If they drive the back way, they go through Waco! Granbury is very quaint, has a pretty lake, an old time downtown square with covered sidewalks and an old courthouse. If all works out, they will have just over 1/3 of a flat acre and are hoping to build a small, one level home. There are lots of great small towns and cities around there. At first they wanted an acre, but soon decided it wasn't necessary and needed to scale down. While they only have and acre and a half here in CA, it's still more work than they need. It would be so great if you moved to Waco - might only be an hour away, sweet! Subtly suggest they look around north Texas too - then we could be even closer. If we plan this right my Josh, maybe we could even have beak to beak get togethers! BTW, the street where the lots are is called...Joshua Way! Skin bro is named Josh too but I know it was because of you! Do you know if your parronts have looked at other areas? Do you think your mom would be up for a call? My mom would love to talk to her about all this, let me know and I'll pass along the message.
Love, your sweetbeak!
p.s. I'm sure your dad was just kidding around but, you let me know if you need my help. I'll fly up there and you and I can get a hold of his "tail feathers"! LOL!
