I guess I was the last to know...
....but the marriage of Miss B.B. & Mr. Sky has been postponed. I know they must be greatly disappointed by having to delay it. I'm real sorry that they had to do so.

I hope your nice fall weather is making a nice colorful entrance. Saw a lovely picture on FB from someone in West Virginia & it was in the mountains looking bright & cheerful.

Mom noticed yesterday on her errands that some of the tips of the trees have started to change. Things that are usually a bright red, look more like a dull brown color. I have heard if there's too much water, the turning of the plants are not as brilliant as they normally would be. So....drought=bright fall leaves....lots of water=dull leaves but great spring flowers! Can we try for the "just right" measure? I guess that really might be pushing it. We'll be glad for the water. At least it means good "eating" crops & sweet fruits to fill our plates with. That always makes Sam a happy bird!

I like a girl who likes to eat! It would always be an honor to have you dine at our table! It is equally a privilege to have you on board the Pirate Pearl. You are a greyt asset to the ship & crew! You bet I will be having some special assignments for you! In fact, they may actually come a bit earlier on some recon assignments of checking out where we can steal some info or maps! Old ScallyWag Osprey Captain has a yearly poker party that I've been privy to for the last couple years for Captain Ceasaur! Now that things have changed with my seniority, I may have to send you! Start practicing your poker playing. All games. Then I'll teach you to cut some cards & slide some up your pirate coat sleeves or hide some in your tail feathers. Cough. Cough. No disrespect intended. Have you thought about any pickpocketing skills? They come in handy as a pirate. Sam grins slyly. Practice practice while you have the time! I bet your sister Miss JennyLynn could help you with that! hahaha! Squawk later & have a wonderful Saturday! Hugs, SamIAm
