Hi Jenny Lynn
Last night mom got the baking bug, so she experimented with birdie bread. She knows Anna won't have time to cut fresh fruits and veggies each day for us, so she took all the extra broccoli, carrots, peppers, and apples and tossed them in the food processor to make them small. Then she added all that, some frozen peas and corn, and the eggshells to the cornbread she uses as a base. Guess what? All of us like it, even me! Well, at least I ate some last night while it was warm. We'll see if I ever taste any more. I gotta keep mom on her toes, right?
We had a frost warning here, so all we can hope for now is a few days of Indian summer to arrive, and hope that happens before mom leaves. She is not ready for cold yet! Hope you are having a good Sunday, getting lots of attention while everyone is home. Hugs, Falco
