No Miss Miranda, Not Those Terrors of The Backyard
...to man & animals alike!! NO FIRE ANTS!!! But they are very tiny black ants who for some reason like to use my cage to cross over the kitchen floor from the French doors to CocoPuff's food dishes!! Mom has had to put those up when she's not eating from them.

Little black ants on a very dark grey cage bars are almost impossible for Mom to see. Oh YES! I see them perfectly! TOO perfectly! Mom soaped down my cage to help rid it of their scent markers, scrubbed everything. She's been changing my papers & ridding the grate of any stuck food every night just before lights out. Have been checking everyday for any more invaders & it's been nothing! No ants marching about coming from under that door. Mom put the Comet on the outside deck part of the door. She has a rubber seal on the bottom of the door and the tiles are tight against it. I mean it must be a tight fit that only those tiny ants could get in. That's why it wasn't much to block the entrance! When that tile was put down, the French doors had to be taken off & sand the bottoms of the door then that rubber seal put on to keep out drafts yes, but to keep out kreepy krawlies!

Take care & have a wonderful day. We're having blue skies & smiley faced sunshine today! Hugs for all, SamIAm
