Thanks Ceasaur For Your Words Of Encouragement!
There is GOOD NEWS!!! Mom's mate's toes are going to be alright but tender for a few months. It will take him 6 to 9 months to grow out the nails. No, the podiatrist said they no longer remove a loose toenail. Even though he will have to be careful NOT to snag it(Mom shudders) they should remain where they are until the new nail comes in. What has happened it there has been repetitive injury to the toe nail (walking in too tight of shoes!) A blister then is formed under the nail. Considering it was tight enough to leave bruising to make it even more complicated to heal up. We went tonight to buy him a half size bigger shoes. The man has the biggest big toes on his skinny small feet. They MUST be accommodated for! There is NO INFECTION!! But since he is having major surgery in 3 wks, the doctor felt as a precaution, to put him on a 2wk antibiotic. He's to notify the surgeon's office tomorrow morning. There we have it. He was so PROUD to drive home! Don't worry about him healing up, although the prayers are much appreciated, but he heals so FAST! It's like watching magic in progress! He had a biopsy from his arm taken on Tuesday. Today, you can't even see it but he can still feel where it is. Tomorrow, it will be gone! It is the most incredible thing to see! Mom is the exact opposite!

Mom then got a call from her son & asked them both to come to the granddaughter's dance studio & get a quick grandma & grandpa fix. Do you think Mom went? She had dropped the phone & was waiting in the car with purse, some homemade chili & waiting for her mate to catch up. They will be picking up the grandkids & taking them out to dinner Sunday night. It's been a year & 4 months since Mom has gotten to see them since her injury. There were hugs & kisses & I wished I was THERE!!! But it made Mom really happy. Even her mate wasn't as grumpy even with sore toes.

Well, I hope you have had a greyt day. Aunt Arlene & Aunt Jane are off on a fantastic adventure! We will be squawking at them next month! I don't know….Halloween out at sea?? I hope they don't see the Flying Dutchman or a hurricane! That storm season doesn't end until Nov. 30th. I think if the storms go over the speed limit of 75mph. that's when Posideon gives them a ticket & turns them into a sunny day or a nor'easter. I have no idea why the hurricanes stop happening past Nov. It is a mystery that will be revealed at a later date.

Have a cozy evening with a warm blanket or hand & lots of snuggles to fall into a wonderful dream. See ya tomorrow! Hugs to all, SamIAm
