Gus, my love,
I don't know what happened to my note to you but I don't see it so that explains why I haven't heard from you...

Mom's new rugs are working great, they are thick enough so that they allow mom's chair to go over the difference in height from the sliding glass doors, she is happy that she can go in and out of the sunroom now with ease. The price was great to...the rugs were only $10 each, way cheaper than the metal transitions. So far, the weather outside is so nice that she is sitting outside now while she still looks like the weather is getting colder so the sunroom will be used very soon...

It is almost time for the in-shell nuts to be showing up in the grocery stores, they usually arrive around November sometime. Mom still has a couple of packages of nuts in the freezer so the timing will be great for her restocking for next year. It is so much cheaper to do it this way...last year she got lucky and was able to get quite a few of the nuts at only 99 cents a pound. That included pecans, Brazil nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, and almonds...

Mom is not thrilled about having another med to take but if it works, maybe she can cut down on the potassium medications...

Yesterday, mom was sitting out on the back deck enjoying the wonderful warming rays of the sun when Harley started barking up a storm and went running off of the porch. The next door neighbor's dogs started to bark as well so mom just thought that the dogs were barking at each other like they sometimes do. Then around the side of the house comes the gardener to fertilize the lawn, he didn't see the truck so he thought that mom and dad weren't home and of course he got pretty startled...Harley was barking at him, she didn't get to close and as he kept walking toward mom, Harley just kept running around in front of him backing up all the way until she was on the porch and mom told her to go inside so she did...I think things might have been different if he had turned around and tried to walk away then maybe Harley would have done something different...

Mom had to have her new chair repaired as it would stop for no reason...the guy ordered a new part for it and he installed it today so hopefully it won't happen again. It feels weird for mom to be driving along and all of a sudden you stop...

It was pretty nice but not as warm today, mom went out for a few minutes but it was a little chilly so she didn't stay long...time for the sunroom, it was a nice 82º in there...

I love you with all my heart...your SuziQ ♥
