Hi Kiddo

4 cups of cranberries
1 piece of cheesecloth
1 cup of water
2 cups of granulated sugar
(this recipe can be made a couple of days in advance)

1. Pick over and wash the cranberries.
2. Bring water to a boil
3. Add the berries to the boiling water
4. Boil until all berries burst, approximately 10 minutes
5. Pour the berries into a sieve lined with cheesecloth and suspend over a bowl.
6. Let the cranberry juice drip undisturbed for at least 1 hour.
7. Return the juice to the saucepan and add the sugar.
8. Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil slowly, stirring constantly until all the sugar has dissolved.
9. Continue to boil for about 5 minutes or until the mixture falls in a sheet from the spoon.
10. Pour at once into a wet mold,or sterilized glasses.
11. Chill for several hours until set; unmold when ready to serve.
I do hope you enjoy this recipe for the Thanksgiving feast! Mom always loves homemade cranberry sauce over the canned in the stores! I'm so sorry I'm late with getting this out but Mom has been so busy lately trying to get some things done in the house before she has to go out all day tomorrow to take Nana for her errand runs and to get skin bro the things he wants Mom to pick up for him!And maybe in there somewhere she'll get to do what she has to do!
Wishing you a great day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses! Love always,King Dixie
