Good morning Tahoe!
(I've got just a few minutes left where I can say that!)

Is it freezing cold at your place today like it is here at mine? I'm told it was a whole whopping 0° out this morning. Even my room was a bit on the chilly side by morning. I'm wishing the old heater that was once in my room had never been traded out for the new one. It doesn't work nearly as well as the beat-up one did. A little space heater has to be brought in to ward off the chill on these extra cold winter days, especially if the wind's blowing. My room catch all that wind when it's from the south. Brrrrr!

So, putting a beak mark in Dad's thumb on Christmas has been a sort of tradition with you? Ooooh! I'd LOVE to take a chunk out of my Dad's thumb. Or any of his fingers. I've only managed to pinch him once. That was back when the family posed for a Christmas photo, with each of the humans holding a pet of their choice for the picture. The oldest son held his guinea pig, the middle son, a cat, and the youngest had his dog. Mom held RaneBeau and wanted me in the picture as well so asked Dad to pick me up. All went well until he went to put me back down and I gave him a good pinch. That was the moment Dad decided he didn't need to ever pick me up again and he's stayed true to that decision. It's a stick for me when I need to be transported by him. A good form of entertainment for me is to attempt to sneak up on Dad and scare the beegeebees out of him! I managed a good one just the other evening. The parronts were watching a bit of football while I preened on a perch nearby. Next thing they know, my face appears up over the edge of the ottoman, RIGHT NEXT to Dad's socked foot. My-my, that man can jump!! Yes, I admit, I'm a pill. And a happy one at that.

I wish to you a sweet sort of day, one spent enjoying all the perks of having your wonderful mom as your buddy.
