Hi again Susan
Your attention please !!!!!

Ms Big Baby & Mr Sky have set the date of their wedding!! It will take place on the 19th of Jan, 2014. The time is 7:00 PM on there wedding page # 249741. Every birdie is invited to attend the wedding and the reception to follow.
If BC allows, there will be a honeymoon trip to places around the world in the *Where in the world is Waldo* theme. Birds will be encouraged to guess where they are by the clues that will be posted on the wedding page.

Ms BB & Mr Sky

Dec. 30: Ms BBs BOTM campaign.

I thought we would stay on Earth today and learn the history of the ships called ‘Enterprise’.

The first two were in the Continental Navy

1. USS Enterprise (May 1775 to July 1777)
This ship was captured from the British !
2. USS Enterprise (Dec. 1775 to Feb 1777)
Yes, two ships with the same name served at the same time.
6 more Enterprises have followed. A 7th was a small non-commissioned
patrol boat (1917 to 1919).

3. USS Enterprise (Dec 1799 to June 1809)
4. USS Enterprise (Dec 1831 to June 1839)
5. USS Enterprise (Mar 1877 to Oct 1909)
6. USS Enterprise (CV-6) (May 1938 to Feb 1947)
This is the Enterprise most of us know from WW ll. It is the most decorated ship in the US Navey.

7. USS Enterprise (CVN-65) (Nov 1961 to Dec 2012)
8. USS Enterprise (CVN-80) (2025 to ) still being built!!!

CV stands for - C= Carrier V= Vessel
CVN stands for- C = Carrier V = Vessel N = Nuclear.
The first five Enterprises were sailing ships

There have been between 15 to 19 British ships named Enterprise, it depends on what list you use.

The US has had one Enterprise shuttle. But it has never flown in space. It was built as a platform to test all the aerodynamic and weight configurations. Its first *flight* was on top of a modified 747. It made many flights this way to test every thing engineers could think of.
On August 12, 1977 the Enterprise made its first flight when it disengaged from the 747 & became a glider.

The Enterprise is now on display at the Intrepid Museum in New Jersey.

There have been many Star Trek Enterprises in many time frames.

1. Enterprise (XCV 330) 2120 –2130
2. Enterprise (NX-01) 2151 – 2161
3. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) 2145 – 2185
4. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) 2286 - 2293
5. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-B) 2293 – 2320
6. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-C) 2332 - 2344
7. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) 2363 – 2371
8. USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) 2372 -- present. Or is that the future??
