Hey Capt.
That is Raven. They had those pics up when the guy was carving the totem pole. He was from either the Raven or the Eagle moiety.
Nobody knows how old Fluffy was. He came in as an adult the year mom started there, they both arrived in Feb. of 2002. So he was at least 12, but probably much older. He had lost an eye in a motor vehicle mishap. He had the lens, but the eye itself was gone. When they wanted to release him (Yes, a one eyed owl can hunt), they did some acuity testing and found out that he couldn't see from the remaining eye, so he had a home with us until he passed away. He was a wonderful owl.
Hope you, Samantha, and the rest of the flock survived the new year's eve festivities and managed to fling all the confetti you've been working so hard to make.
One of our wishes for this year is that we get to meet your folks in person, either here in Pittsburgh, where mom can show them around, or there for Parrot Palooza. Happy New year to all of you! Hugs, Willie
