Hi Cheeta
Hi Cheeta. Sonny is healing nicely. He's let a nice big scab form and is keeping off the injured foot. Mom also did some research and found a cream good for him and she is applying that twice a day but Sonny can't stand to be held. He is a very untrusting bird who doesn't like affection so mom has to grab him in a towel and sometimes that proves challenging as mom doesn't want him to injure himself by trying to flee. He's eating and drinking and keeping warm and has that foot tucked in real good. His one toenail is turning black. We are hoping he will be able to use the foot again. Not sure if it's damaged and not just cut. Thanks for checking in on us. We will keep you posted. Love, Peeps Keep's so cold outside!
