Sorry Message Cut Off Again
Part 2 of Message

It brought me to tears when I received it. Its very hard not seeing him everyday. Every time I take care of Murphy and he is not there for me to take care of him it is very hard. I still haven't had the strength to get rid of his cage or food containers. Its been very difficult. He was such a wonderful, funny, Very Spunky little soul. He was a real character. Heaven is very lucky to have him up there. He is probably making everyone laugh.
Murphy is doing okay. While Birdie was sick Murphy was very very quiet. I think he knew and sensed everything that was going on. The day Birdie was put down I carried Birdies cage downstairs into the dining room. Murph watched me the whole time. He started pacing in his cage. Twice he said "Hey Bird" " Hey Bird" and nothing else. I started to cry. He knew and I think he was wondering where he was. For a couple days after he passed My Mom and I noticed Murph making some of Mr. B's chirps and little noises. Even today I was upstairs resting and Murphy was imitating the same noise Birdie used to make when he ate his food. Murph today has finally started to talk a bit more and even played. I know he misses him and wonders where he is. I know birds are like small children and can understand things like humans. I tell Murph we will all see one another again. Its so hard. Its been a very hard year, with my Dads passing in Feb. Then two days before Christmas we lost our 13 yr old dog due to old age and illness, then Mr. Birdie on Jan 2nd. Now one of our 13 yr old cats is very ill. A lot of our pets are all older all at the same time. Its been very difficult and emotional.
I wanted to thank you for your couple messages you sent to us the last couple days. It means so much to have people like you who understand and care some much for animals like I do. They are my friends, my best friends really. The only only thing that gets me through their passing is knowing I will one day see them all again.
Our home is not the same this last year with all the loss. It has become emptier and quieter. Hard to get used to. I hated even having to tell you about Mr. Birdie's passing. I remember hearing stories of other bird owners on this site including yourself who have lost some of their beloved pets. I cried for all the pets lost. I know how hard it is to lose them. But the love and support from others is always very helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness.
