Hi Willie
Mom loves phoebes. They nest on our property and land on the power line outside the parront's roost and sing in early April. Mom loves to have the window open and listen to them sing. It's like the overture to spring. When the parronts have the front of the house sided with stone, the phoebe's built a nest on it close to the overhand (so the cowbirds couldn't invade their nest) and close to the front door. Dad thought it was something insect and wanted to knock it down and mom stopped him telling him how beneficial the birdies are catching insects and it was like a blessing over our home. A whole week! Wow! what are you guys gonna do with mom home? Love and winghugs, Captain Darling
