Hi Dandy
That's true. Mom likes Birds and Blooms, too, especially in the winter when it's so gray outside.
It's really cold here today. This morning when mom walked the dogs, it was 3 degrees, up from -2 overnight.
Mom's day has been busy so far. This morning she took care of a bunny, a red tailed hawk, a ground hog, several bats, and the raccoons. It doesn't sound like much, does it? Then she hit the bank for some cash and went to buy the girls each a Kong and some snacks. After that she taught the English class and did some grocery shopping. She just got back from taking the girls to the groomer, and she'll have to go out to get them when they are done. After that she is ours!
One of the behaviorists from the Animal Rescue League came here yesterday to work with Daisy dog again. She gave mom some good ideas about keeping her from fixating on us birds. One of them is to toss treats when she isn't paying attention, kind of like goodies from the sky. She suggested cheerios! Another thing mom is going to try is to put her nightly food into a Kong and freeze it. Then Daisy can work on it, have dinner, and leave us alone all at once. We hope both those ideas work. Hope also that you are having a good day and staying warm. Hugs, Willie
