|Hello You Handsome TN Fellow!
I just love your profile photo; it's so bright and colorful, so NOT wintery!! I'm hanging on to hope that someday those outdoor days will come again. Our weather has been on a bit of a rollercoast as well, although I think it's spending an unfair amount of time in the colder zones. Mom wishes it would just stay at 26: cold enough that the dogs' feet wouldn't get muddy while out yet warm enough that the dogs will actually DO something while they're out there.
I'm so sorry that your mom's got a knee that's giving her trouble. The thought of her having to have surgery is just awful, but I hear it does help lots of humans feel better afterwards. You'll have t'be the man of the house and take care of things while she's busy recuperating. I know, I know, you're already the man of the house! Perhaps Smokey had best not know I said that.
You are right about it being me that did the number on the keyboard. Mom stepped away for a mere moment, which was all the time I needed to remove those select keys. The 'command' key is yet not right, which I hear about from time to time. The idea of having all these tempting computer parts tucked away inside an armoire is a sad one. I'll bet Romey's working on a way to circumnavigate the new barriers. Keyboards are just too enticing to resist! Have you ever managed to remove any keypads??
Mr. Arthur sends a hearty greeting your way. It was said with a beak full of cardboard; he's forever working away on the destruction of whatever box is on top of his cage. The floor around his space is constantly littered with brown paper! Should he ever fall off his cage, the landing should be a soft one thanks to all the padding he puts there!
Thank you ever so much for stopping by. What a delight to hear from you and also to have this chance to write back. You take care, Rusty, and tell Spring to hurry on up, once it gets to your house, of course.
