Hi Cookie
We are all so happy to hear that your awesome Mom is staying home with you on such a miserable day!It started off as snow here and then turned to rain which makes everything slushy and very wet!Mom had to shovel that heavy stuff off the deck and off the walkway just to get to the mailbox and she almost sunk into the snow by the mailbox because the plows left a big winnrow at the end of the driveway, and it was raining on Mom as she was shoveling the deck off!Does that concert with Foreigner,Styx and Don Felder sound good!Mom is hoping to get to see some good concerts this summer, she hopes, she was planning on seeing Tommy James but it was downpouring rain and she didn't want to be sitting in the grass outside for hours in the rain so she missed that great show! She wants to see the Happy Together show again, they never came here last year, this year they have Gary Lewis and the Playboys, along with the Turtles, they change groups every year it seems!Last year they had Gary Puckett who's good too.I put on one more gram today and Mom is so happy,I just need a few more grams before I will be allowed out to forage on the bird room floor again.I ate my bean mix even though its been taking me half the morning in which to eat it and I'm at my pellets now!I can't wait to see the FB video of you and Elvis and Doo!My dad made it on the news today and its posted on YouTube and will be on Channel 18 our town station here, dad still says that its not up yet and once he finds it he'll give Mom the link so she can send it to you to see, some of his coworkers were interviewed as well,I guess they filmed my dad doing his office thing!Dad did a tour of the roads here and said that they were really slippery and they were running out of salt for the roads and were waiting for their supply to come in from Boston,so they are having to use sand with some of the salt mixture that they have left, dad hates the sand as it does nothing for traction and only insulates the ice and keeps it from melting underneath, then there's the mess in the spring from all the sand on the roads that he has to get cleaned up with the sweepers! We may get to see our daddy for a short period of time tonight before he has to go to bed only to get back out to work for 10:00tonight!We are so thankful for all the prayers you are sending our way for our daddy to be safe!We love you sooo much!
Wishing you a greyt day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses! Loving you always and forever,Dixie
