Hi Princess
It's true, they can't all be saved.
This morning at the center mom cleaned after the outdoor raccoons again, then she had the RVS room. The heron seems to be doing better each time she goes there. It's such an improvement from when he came in. The staff thought he wouldn't survive the night. He had leeches in his mouth, he was dehydrated, and had that wing injury with lots of missing feathers. He looks and acts so much better now. The pigeon is also doing a little better. The ground hog is going to be the biggest boy out there this spring when he finally gets released. He should get lots of girls with the way he looks! All the bats in the RVS room are looking good, too. They sure can eat a lot.
I hope you are having a good day, and getting lots of love as well as staying warm. Hugs, Falco
