Hi Rico and Paulie
Happy Valentine's Day to you all!How awful that the poor breeder was rushed to the emergency room with chest pain and how scary to have a suspected heart attack! She is in our thoughts and prayers and Mom will add her name to the book of special intention in church tomorrow along with the Cuddler and the Edible One!Poor little Betty, did that mean Sunnie take her upper or lower mandible? Is the whole thing gone or does she have some beak left?I(Dixie) sure know what she must be feeling,my beak is broken by a Red Moluucan Lory and I have half my lower mandible but Mom has to keep dremmeling both my upper and lower beaks.Mom wound up handfeeding me baby bird formula until I got my grams back on.How sneaky of those Keets and you too to squeeze yourselves under the tray and up through the grate like that!
How awesome of the Cuddler and the kids to spend all that time cleaning all the cages in the aviary,it sure was a long time cleaning there!Mom and I sure can understand about how the breeder feels! Its so heartbreaking but things can happen in an instant! And even when we are all settled in our cages like I was!All that scrubbing and cleaning those cages can sure make the Cuddler really sore, especially working for all those long hours she and the kids put into it!
My dad still is hoarse and its been weeks now,he will be going out tomorrow in the storm we're supposed to have, and who knows when we'll see him again? We had lots of wind and rain last night and early this morning our power went off,Mom and dad were scrambling around in the dark to get him off to work in time, and Mom was trying her best to keep the six of us warm.Thank goodness it was only out for 2 hours!Do we know what that ice under the snow is like we have it here from the last storm last week when all the slush froze! We just can't wait for the spring to get here! Its been a long stormy winter for all of us!
Just know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and please keep us updated on how the Breeder,The Cuddler and the Edible One are doing,we worry about them all the time and we love each and everyone of them!Mom is going to put all of their names again as usual in the special intentions book in church, she puts them in every week!
Wishing you a greyt Valentines Day and I'm sending you all our love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses!Loving you always and forever,Dixie and Kallie
