Good Morning!
I hope this day finds your two convalescing patients there (Mom & Polly) are doing well & are stronger today. That will be so very greyt that they are both mending quickly.

I am being a big rascal today! Mom worked hard yesterday cleaning my cage as I was busy whittling away the hours on my new toy! In another day or so, I will need another one JUST LIKE THIS ONE!!! If it's not exactly the same, I will run to the other side of the cage & huddle, shaking, in the corner. That way I make Mom feel guilty that she has terrified me so much trying to put another, but yet, slightly different, toy monster in my cage. No, after all her work of cleaning & paper scrounging from the neighbors (heeheehee!), I have decided to take a big ole' BATH today! That paper is now paper goo & I'm laughing & laughing! She will have to clean once again & change out those papers!! Hahaha!

Mom just found out last night (Friday night) that her mate is leaving for his trek to the beach down south on the Gulf of Mexico. Nice. Let's leave the important dates, etc. for the last minute. Well, that explains a lot of his actions & attitudes of late. He does seem to go nutzo when "launching" time is near. Mom chuckled when next Wednesday, the day he's going to leave, it's suppose to be raining from here south. What's the prob, Bob? He has a rain suit, face shield, windshield on the bike, attachable umbrella for his helmut. What else could there be to face the unruly weather monster? Well, at least we'll have some peace around here then.

I have yet to go inside the travel cage but I have found it to be quite the attention getter when I get on it! You know how I love Mom being all attentive as I do my silly tricks for her. She's so easy to please, BUT I'm still wary of the INSIDE of that cage! I have made her stop breathing as I stepped up on the opened door of the thing & sat there for the longest of time! I preened & stretched and was just having a good time tilting my head & flipping it upside down for Mom. She'd praise me & encourage me to go inside but I just teased her & teased her. I did take an extra step in that direction but just "sat" my ground on the opened door. My oh my, this is sure FUN! Mom says I'll have MORE fun if I'd just get in it & we could then go outside. We shall see. This is just about as good as when I did the "door bell" gag on her. Heeheehee!

Have a splendid day today. Mom wants to call if it's alright. Hugs, SamIAm
