Hi Scooby
It's neat how birds just know how to care for those eggs. The center has an incubator that turns them automatically. They didn't take eggs for the longest time, but when they got that cool incubator, they have taken them when people bring them in.
When mom used to do that at school with her science classes, she had the kids put numbers on the eggs on 4 sides so they could remember which way to turn them through the day.
Mom got her car inspected today, got the tires rotated, the oil changed, and whatever else needed done. It took a couple of hours, but she's back for at least awhile.
She is having our neighbor over for dinner tonight, so she is making ham and bean soup with the ham bone she froze on Easter. She thinks it's time to get it out of the freezer. It will be a lot of soup, though, so the freezer will remain full, I think.
Mom has to go to the grocery store but just for some dog food and milk, so she should be with us the rest of the day. Hope you are having a good day with sun and scritchies. Hugs, Falco
