Well at least you stopped by even though you could not vote....Just pecked a vote for you my friend....Due to Mom having a appointment today which took longer then expected I am going to talk about "Most Commom Diseases of the Cockatiel. They are as follows: (1) Obseity (2) Obstetrical problems(egg-binding) (3) Upper respiratory symptoms(sneezing) (4) Eye problems (swollen, runny) (5) Chlamydiosis (6) Feather picking (7) Yellow-colored feathers in lutinos (8) Difficult breathing (gasping) (9) Lead or Zinc poisoning (10) Intestinal parasites (11) Injuries (In-coordination (especially in lutinos)...The most common disease conditions in cockatiels are often the result of malnutrition. Visiting your avian veterinarian for routine health checks will help prevent many of the above diseases and support you in having a long, satisfying relationship with your cockatiel. Tomorrow I will definitely talk about "How to keep you cockatiel healthy, happy and safe....Thank you all for your votes...Hope you are enjoying today...With many birdie wing hugs to you.....Sam :o)
