Only 1 more day to go..Then I have to wait for the official announcement before I pack my bags..Thanks for your votes...V4U...Today by campaign blog I will talk about"Some people take interest in showing their Cockatiels"...If you are interested in showing your cockatiels, try to visit some local shows and speak tob reeders first. All exhibition birds, irrespective of their coloration, must be in top condition, with a full complement of claws.Do not exhibit moulting cockatiels, as they will not be in perfect feather condition,an essential prerequisite for success.Depending on where you live in the world, it may be necessary to exhibit cockatiels in special show cages.Ensure that the birds selected for the show are all steady and accustomed to their quarters,so that they will not be nervous when being judged.Training young cockatiels for exhibition purposes is strongly recommended, and you can start the process almost as soon as they are separated from their parents.Tame birds are also likely to make better breeding stock,so the effort you put into training them is never wasted...This blog is only of interest for someone who might think they would like to show their bird.....Hope you are having a great Friday...Many birdie wing hugs....Sam :o)
