Hello Willie!
Mom had her tooth adhered in place once again. She had to be there at 3pm which is right smack in the middle of her going to the Aquatics Center. It takes about an hour & 15 minutes to get to the office, add the possibility of car accidents or other delays....So, that just blew it for her to swim today.

She took her bag just in case she walked in & walked out of there but alas, she was being worked into the schedule because they're going to be closed from the 3rd to the 8th. She finally left there around 4:20 or so and had to drive through the rush hour traffic. She was in the beginning of it & it could've been a lot worse. She stopped to pick up some prescriptions that she had to call in & then rushed home to start feeding cats, cook some dinner for me & her and fold a load of laundry that was waiting for her. Our dinner together was just perfect! I had some cornbread with apples & blueberries. I ate every crumb!!

Mom likes that turquoise color, too. Her bedroom is painted a warm light chocolate milk color and the other accent colors are turquoise & white. Mom's been working on all of this for a long time. Things like cancer & pancreatitis kind of delayed a lot of her projects. It keeps her mind busy & when she feels well enough, she does a bit more on it here & there. Collecting up the style she has in there takes patience. Vintage beach stuff not all that easy to come by when you live inland. She's found old posters for Miami & Miami Beach. Pictures of Pensacola & Panama City. Cape Canaveral & Tampa/St. Pete. She's been all over Florida & has had or still has family & friends that live in those places. A gift that friends gave Mom on her last day there in Panama City was a sandcastle that had been molded from the actual sand from Panama City Beach. Since then, others have given her 'castles' from all along the panhandle of Florida. She's got 4 or 5 of those now. They're all different, too. She has some old travel posters for Cape Canaveral, her uncle used to work there for NASA. Just stuff that made her childhood & young adult years very happy. Maybe she should take some pictures of it & send to your good Momma. She'll take a picture of the seashell that inspired it all. Yes, it's turquoise, brown, & white. I know one thing! Her grandkids RUN to her bedroom, climb on the trunk at the end of her bed, then dive into her pillows on her bed. They just love it for some reason! Mom has said it's because they must have inherited their love of the beach. There's a lot of that flowing in their blood.

Mom hopes to give your's a call tomorrow. She can't see the rheumatologist until next week because they are also closing early for the holiday & not returning until next Wednesday. Wednesday will be when she can see him the soonest. All that phone calling took most of her time this morning. She was so tired when she got home but didn't have time to rest. By the time she put me to bed, it was
