Hi Falco
hopefully they took an X-ray of your leg. a good trick for bird e.g. injures is to take a drinking straw. you can go to a party store and get any size you want. then you cut it to fit the leg and then slice it down the side and just place it on the leg. it won't cut off circulation but birds can't get to the sore or f its broken it allows the bone to heal. most vets don't know this trick. mom learned it from her book which is written by the bird man of alcatraz and has more information in it than most vets are even aware of on how to treat injuries in birds. at that time he didn't have antibiotics so he used homeopathic remedies he got from alcatrez and he was very successful.

if my mom had cataract surgery she would need to be knocked out completely.

love Cori
