Hey Falco...V4U !!!
You know what works really good for chewing on your leg and feather picking ??? When my mommy first brought Tweety home she tried everything to stop him from picking on himself. He would literally make himself bleed. Why ??? We don't know. Anyway one day she looked on the advertisement on a pop up on BC and found this lady who makes custom orders of bird collars. They are made from leather and some from soft buckhide. That collar along with the pinecones they sell completely stopped Tweety from mutilating himself... He got started on the pinecones and it was like a miracle. The lady my mommy ordered them from guaranteed that this method works and birds love these special pinecones they sell. They have pinecones and collars for every breed of bird. It's been 2 and a half years since Tweety has stopped doing that. But he still loves the pinecones...If you need the lady's phone number and e-mail let me know. My mommy has it. It's worth a try whats there to lose ???

Have a cool and comfy evening

PS We have you and your sweet mommy in our prayers.
