Hi Ginger
How many times has that happened to Mom and Nana when they went into a store to ask a question or to find out some information about and item they were interested in and got the invisible treatment from everyone!Good for your sweet Momma to have the guts to get on up there on the phone and let them have it!Lowe's should've given them a better discount than that as their time was just as valuable for having to wait all that time and get the silent treatment!Sometimes that's just what you have to do in order to get yourself heard!
My Mom spent a good part of the morning cleaning out the pantry and trying to get it finished! She threw alot of stuff out that she forgot she had and the cawcaws got a wonderful feast! She tried to organize all the stuff out there that was just thrown everywhere! She lost all her cabinets to the sunroom because when they moved the fridge out there, there was no room for them,so now she's trying to cut down on what she gets at the grocery store as there is only her and dad now and she doesn't need that much food anymore!
Its been a dark, dismal and dreary day here, very humid and warm,77 degrees and everything you touch is wet,the floors, papers,YUCK!Mom can't even wash the floors because they would never dry!Another day of no deck time for us as it looks like its going to rain,it already drizzled out here earlier this morning. My baby fister Candida will be happy as this means she gets to have dinner with dad! While dad eats dinner she puts her but right up on his arm and he rubs her back and head, she only lets dad put his hand around her to bring her back to her cage as she makes Mom chase her all over the house! She's definitely a daddy's girl!
Well,Mom will be off and running again tomorrow morning so this is the last day we'll have her home with us for the whole day!Maybe Thursday she'll stay home with us again! It looks like another a/c night for us here!
Our highs will be 78 and the lows will be 70 and cloudy and no sun.Where is this cooler air we're supposed to have, they are forecasting a whole lot of rain here for sometime tonight and into tomorrow,it figures, always when Mom has to go out on her errand runs!
Wishing you a greyt day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses my sweet Ginger!Loving you always and forever,Dixie
