Hi Ginger
Today started off dull and dark again but much cooler and the humidity was gone,so at least Mom got to vacuum the house without the dirt sticking to the floor! Then as she worked on weighing and repackaging the ground chicken she bought yesterday for meals, the sun came out and it went up to 79 degrees and was so pleasant outside, but Mom wanted to get all her chores done first before getting us all outside. We finally got outside late in the afternoon and got our soaking showers and got to dry off in the sunshine while we watched all the wild birds come and go from the feeders along with the chipmunks and squirrels! We even got to stay out on the deck with Mom and dad as they ate dinner getting some snacks of animal crackers and Madagascar Mix!Its so nice to see the sunshine again after all that rain we had!
My Mom used to love going to the free concerts in Boston. They would leave after work on a Friday night and pick out a place on the lawn in Boston Public Gardens and grab something to eat and just listen to the concerts that were playing inside the tent there, you couldn't see them because you had to pay to go inside but you sure could hear them clearly and she got to hear the Beach Boys and quite a few of the other greyt bands of the time! How wonderful that they gave the retirement party for the police volunteer who volunteered for 21 years! How sad that he had that stroke which kept him in a wheelchair like that and kept him from being a school teacher.Gas for your vehicle is just getting ridiculous here also,it's just less then .20 from being $4.00 a gallon here for regular gas!My Mom will be on the run again tomorrow to take more of the things that skin sis pulled from the cellar to the dump and the donations places.Slowly our house is getting cleaned out from years of stuff left behind by the skin sibs,Mom told everyone that they have until the fall and if its not gone by then(she's not waiting another year, its been 4 already)she will just fill her car and keep taking trips all over town to the dump and donation places until its all gone!Hopefully she'll be home at a decent hour tomorrow and not stay out as late as she has been!
Wishing you a greyt day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses to my sweet Ginger!Loving you always and forever,Dixie
