Hi Jen
Well, today's sunbath wasn't until nearly 1PM, and it is a good thing that the weekend warm up hadn't started yet. However it was still not too hot, and we had a nice time out there. Mom did discover it is time for a new lawn chair for her to sit in with me though. This one is started to give up the ghost.

Mom got her date for her surgery; it will be on August 20th. She wants her friend to take her over and drop her off, and have Dad pick her up the next day when she is released. That way he will be there with her afterwards, because the surgeon warned her there will be pain. She also can expect to lose weight, but apparently that's because she won't want to eat. Not the best diet ever. Her biggest concern is that I will have to put myself to bed that night, because there is no way I will let Dad do it. Thank goodness it is only overnight!!!
