Hi Ginger
Oh does charcoal cook up fast and the coals stay hot long after you've been done cooking! My dad cleans out the coal the next day after all the embers are dead and cooled off and cold! The charcoal gives the food an out of this world taste as your sweet daddy said and Mom prefers charcoal to propane any day,she and dad had propane years ago,you can't beat the flavor charcoal brings to the food! There is a lot of smoke especially if you have fatty hamburgers,or any other food that holds lots of fat!Mom took out a pork tenderloin right from the freezer yesterday and just plopped it on the grill along with the hamburgers and hot dogs, and it didn't take long for that to cook up!Mom had that for dinner for she and dad tonight, much better on the grill than in the oven! That marinade your sweet Mom made sure sounds beak watering!
Your sweet daddy is right about the garage holding heat especially if you have two hot cars inside! We have two windows up high in our garage but sometimes dad leaves the doors open to let the hot air out,but what an ingenious idea your daddy had to install a window fan inside the garage!I'm with you all humans are crazy big time!LOL! My mom was busy with clearing out more junk from the house today to add to the donations boxes and the dump bags!Dad worked on scraping paint off the trim of the house so he could put the new purple paint on that Mom got him a month or two ago!
It was a cloudy cool day here for the most part getting up to 72,the sun never came out til late in the day around 4:30 and Mom took us all out on the deck to join the parronts for dinner! It was fun to be in the sunshine and to watch the wild birds flying back and forth to the feeders and bird bath!
Its always so wonderful to talk to you!I just loved how it looked like the tool box threw up all over the work bench! I think that's a greyt way to describe how our house looks right now! With all the cleaning and hauling of stuff out of the house there are things that are placed on the table to think about for another day before it too goes out to the donation boxes or dump!Mom can't wait to get the whole house finished with all the clutter runs and dump and donation runs!I think this is going to take all year before its finally finished!
Our highs were 72 and our lows are 61.
Wishing you a greyt day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses my sweet Ginger,Loving you always and forever,Dixie
