a slinky, a slinky, oh what a wonderful toy!
My Mom said the hardest part of the surgery was getting up & mobile again. She had to stay home for two weeks & "not go anywhere except for to the bathroom" according to her Doctor, and that's what she did. But then, getting up & using crutches after that, she was really weak, so it took her a couple of weeks to build up her stamina again. On her next foot, whenever she gets it done, she said she's gonna lay in bed & do leg lifts & exercises, so she won't lose so much muscle & will still be a little bit active. Make sure to tell her to find a good Doctor too, my Mom searched & searched, and then found the perfect Doctor for her only twenty minutes away! I'm excited that it's almost Friday, because that means I get to be home all weekend, and sleep in a little late! |
