My Wing Injury
Hi Bird, Kacey here. As to how my wing got broke, it was broke by my sib SweetPepper. She wanted to check out my pet tent while I was inside it, we got into a scuffle and of course the bigger, stronger bird won. She didn't mean to do it, it happened when she grabbed my wing to get me out of the tent. It was an honest mistake but I am very wary of her now. I got good news from my vet today, if all goes well, I may get the cast off next week. When I go to the vet next week, she wants to watch me for awhile with the cast off to see how well I do without it. Also I need to preen and work on my feathers. I have a lot of new feathers coming in and it is itchy under the cast. So I will be spending the morning at the vets next week. I do hope it goes well as I am getting tired of this cast. I want to spread my wings. Will do update next week. Thanks for caring, Kacey
