Hi Poopsy
My wing was broken by my sister senegal, SweetPepper. I was in my pettent and she wanted to come in and check it out and we got into a scuffle and she grabbed my wing and threw me out onto the floor. My mom wasn't home at the time but grandma was supposed to be supervising. When my mom got home and saw my wing, she rushed me to the vet. Had to see the vet twice a week the first month and then once a week for 2 months then every 2 weeks till I was all healed. I also had to wear one of those plastic collars around my neck for at least 6 weeks. It was a horrible time, I had to sleep in a laundry basket because I couldn't get around my cage with the collar on. I am much stronger now but my wing will never be used for flying. SweetPepper was sorry for what she did but when we are all out, she is supervised. Have a great weekend. kacey
