Miss Pookie Parrot wishes you Happy New Year
We have the same name! I am a little older, and a Pineapple Green Cheek Conure, hatched near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now living with Mom and my adopted brother Bodhi Parrot, in Northampton, Massachusetts.

It is a great privelege to be named Pookie. Pookie is a wonderful name. I can say it very well. So can Mom. Bodhi calls me Ooooh or PPP. But he is younger.

We are expecting about 9 inches of snow and then the New Year, which will make it even more fun to look outside and see the neighborhood (outdoor) birds. Mom feeds them, too. They spend hours on our covered balcony every day, and perching at the window feeder and talking to Bodhi.

Please tell your Mom she has chosen the most excellent name for you. Pookie
