Hello! Thanks for being understanding! I'm kinda going crazy right now. I don't normally pull babies this young (the youngest was 7 days old when I pulled her.) Whinny just wasn't feeding them. I pulled the first two to see if she would feed the youngest, and they were SOOO skinny. She then completely abandoned the youngest. So I pulled her too. I really didn't think Midge was going to make it- she was too weak to even eat. It's amazing how fast they can crash like that- she went from kinda skinny, when I left in the morning to go to school, to nearly dead when I got home that evening. So I've been feeding every hour for the first part of this week. On thursday I cut back to every two hours. No more babies for Whinny. That's all I can say. That's sad that all the used book places are gone by you! Squirreled Away is the best store ever. If you ever buy anything, tell them I sent you... I LOVE Ray Bradbury, and Piers Anthony. I've heard of the others, and I know I've read some of their books, but I don't remember which books those were. What are some of them called? Ok, this is a dumb question, but what is steampunk? And urban surrealism? Have you ever read any Larry Niven? Or Andre Norton? Or Fredrick Pohl? I like all the older books- many of the new ones seem to just either recycle plots, or just be gross. Yes, I am rambling... The joys of sleep deprivation... =) Which Ray Bradbury books have you read? And Piers Anthony? What books do you like the most? Who is Robert Apsrin? What did he do to annoy you? The pet store by you sounds really nice. The self colored opaline sounds nice. My fantasy bird is either a sky blue yellow face type II dilute spangaline, or a really deep visual violet "brightening factor" (I don't know what the real name for that gene is) spangaline. I might actually produce the first from Reeps and Caspy. The second I will have to buy, either a parent or the actual bird. All I need is a double factor violet cobalt angel wing and breed her to Merlin... So pretty... Angel would kill me. That colorado trip sounds cool.
