Hi Pookie! I'm very happy for you that you have a wonderful home now. Being in a home with a family that treats you the way you should be is the best thing ever. I was so happy when I was rescued. I was in a cage too small for me too. I did have a perch though, it was too big for me though. I couldnt hang on it it at all. I didnt have any toys or anything, and they only fed me people food. They also had this ugly dirty mildewy cover that was connected to my cage. Mom had to cut it off. They used to big hook to keep my cage door closed! Amazing what some people do to us birds. I'm in a beautiful bird cage now. It's like a mansion compared to my old one. I have toys now too although I don't play with them. Whats your cage like now? How many perches do you have? I have 3 although I only use one most of the time. Do you let your family pick you up and stuff?
