Hi Koko and new birdie parents: Thanks for asking. Wow, I bet that is fun with two dogs and two cats. WELL; It all depends on training and how they are all raised. Our dog is a 13 year old male black pomeranian who never showed interest in the bird, it's opposite here, I have to watch so the bird does not hurt himm hahaha. And I had someones' cat here for awhile to keep till she found a place for him. HE was declawed and was a very sweet cat, never showed interest in bothering the bird, BUT it made me nervous, cause a cat is a cat and their claws can cause infections on a birds' skin if it's cut open and for big dogs, I didn't have any more big dogs when I got ZAzoo. One to ask for that would BE CHESTER , on my page, click On chester, he is a green cheeked amazona and they have two large dogs and live in New Orleans. For other things. I did alot of reading, from libraries and bought alot of bird books and of course I get the BIRD TALK magazine, if you don't already, I would. It's so good and informative. The very important DO'S and DON'TS with bird. USing non stick cookware of any kind can kill a bird. It's (telfon_ it's on non-stick pans, non-stick grills, even ironing boards, keep them far as you can. Some hair dryers, and keep aerosols far away , and No plug-ins, and candles I use only with window open. No avocados, they are poisonous, onions and garlic may be harmful. I clean my house when he is in bed in his sleeping cage so no fumes can reach him and I use as little as I can. good place for info is on the web. One site that has great info is BIRDS N WAYS. Oh don't use any metals in cage that can have zinc, they can get metal poisoning. Please feel free to ask me more specific questions, cause there is alot hahahaha. I don't mind. Thanks for visiting :)
