VOTE4U, Hi Honey, I'm so glad you are coming out more. My Mommy had to work very hard with me. She would walk me on her shoulder to other rooms, 1 day at a time and show me things, so I would get less scared. Did I tell you the trick the birdie teachers told her that worked. Everyday when she came home from work she would let me climb out of my came far enough for me to climb on her shoulder(I was too afraid of hands) Then we went slowly into her bedroom(out of site of my cage) With the bed covered with towels, she would bend down & let me climb off(no hands) Then she'd sit next to me & scoop me up on her hand. I'd get on & bite & bite & get off. Then again & again till the next night. Then she'd start doing the same for me to come out of my cage. Started with bite & me grabbing anything I could to hold on to so she couldn't get me out, even though I really did want to come out! Finally after weeks & her hands that looked like they had been washing rose bushes, I finally got on & no bitey! She was sooooo happy!!! Me, too!! Now I give kisses!! I love her so much & she is CRAZY for me, he,he,he!! Can't wait to see you giving kisses, too!! Love ya, XXXXOOOO Please vote for Lucky he is a special needs Macaw that can't fly. His mom was kind enough to take him in from a breeder even though she is a breeder herself. This bird has one special start in life and really deserves to be king. So please do me a favor and vote Lucky. Lucky tried last week and was beat out it would really mean a lot if you can vote every day until Sunday. Thanks so much!
