Hope you had fun in Colorado. My cousins love to go there to ski. I know, there is always that, "wow you are really good with birds, what do you have? oh, just a budgie, that is not a bird, ect.."like once they find out you do not have a macaw, you do not know anything. I have worked with bigger birds and have tamed my neighbors famously mean African Grey, but just because I do not "own" a larger bird, I am not as immersed in aviculture. I know, I am always thinking of the budgie holding the world record for the most words whenever they say in BIRDTALK about how little birds do not do alot. All the editor has is two cockateils, though. Oh, I do not have any birds besides hookbills, but I think they make just a good of pets. I am best friends with my neighbors chickens!(This coming from the girl who taught who minnows tricks! but you know) I saw a thing on, um, maybe it was Good Morning America, they were talking about organic food. I think it must have been a biased report, because never did they mention that organic foods contain more nutrients, are better for you, better for the earth, ect. They just shoved them done because "they are fresh, like everyone assumes". What is with that. You do not even want to know what they said about buying organic or free-range meat. I mean, the point was it is better for you, but also they have to treat the animals so much better. I just try to raise awarness.
