Hi Trance
Most of the time, mom takes Jiffy cornbread mix, and just throws stuff in it. We like it with the pureed organic sweet potato. It comes in a can in the organic section of the grocery store. She puts in eggs, shell and all, then some wheat germ, and multigrain cereal (like oatmeal, but with other grain in it too) She will put nuts, fruit or veggies, sometimes applesauce. She does use about 4 eggs when she makes it....just keep throwing stuff in...and don't forget the cinnamon...we love it with Cinnamon and Ginger. She sometimes calls it kitchen sink birdie food. The past few times, she put Harrisons pellets in it 'cause we don't like them, but they are good for us she says. One way to make us healthy, I guess. Sadie's mom sent us birdie bread that she made. We will try it tomorrow. Her mom says she uses regular jiffy mix and builds on it....not an exact science, but we like all of it~~Uzi
