I did not know there where those laws in Ireland. We have always carried cloth bags whenever we shop anywhere, but I am pretty sure if you had to PAY to use the store bag, then most people would carry their own. I do not think we would ever get a law that you had to pay for each bag of trash in America. Do not get me wrong, I think it is a great idea, we recycle everything we can, and try not to use stuff we can not recycle, but I do not think anything that involves more work will happen. With that law it would make people actually count bags, very difficult. (I think I must be a snob with you! oh dear). I feed my birds pellets, but the prefer fresh food, and I have noticed since I put the budgies and Yo-yo together that they eat everything, whether they have seen it before of not. I guess it brings out the "must get food for myself instinct" to have acouple of birds vying for the food. They prefer their fresh food to pellets, and to seeds almost! The only thing they do not really relish is mung been sprouts. Thye love all other sprouts, but some how mung beens do not suit them or something. Frank is a pickier eater, but he has gotten much better, he absolutly loves melon. Yo-yo will eat all kinds of greens before anything else. I just love it everytime I have a new kind to give him. What seed mix do you give your birds? I have tried different ones, and I was looking for a tried and true good one that did not contain sunflour seeds because of Frank. I figure I can buy sunflower seed seperatly to adjust how much they get. I did not want to make my own, though I could, because I do not have very many birds at the moment.
