Missing Tookie
Hello, Woody, This is Tookie's mom. We just returned from our two month trip to Florida. It seemed very quiet without Tookie. We miss his cheerful greetings every day. We came home through New Jersey to pick up our cat, Plumecrazy China Blue. We had gotten her a couple of months before our trip, but she "vacationed" in New Jersey with our daughter. Tookie liked cats and had already decided that China was "his" cat. China is trying to be a good companion, but she just can't learn to sing! Ah, well. Tookie's cage went to the Humane Society in Ft Myer's for a rescue bird. I think he would approve. Tookie had a great trip to Florida and had been singing to the mirror, pecking our hands, and flying a little, just enjoying life, when he just suddenly died. I guess it is a good way to go, just having birdie fun. Thank you for your sympathy. Sylvia |
