Hi Autumn! Thanks for visiting me again and introducing me to Hannie, both of you are great gals. I wanted to vote for you and tell you a funny story, hehe...Last weekend my parents went to a local bird shop to buy me some new toys. This shop has 4 hyacinth macaws like you, 2 of which were out playing on a freestanding tree structure. My dad loves to admire hyacinths but has never held one. So he tried to get one of the macaws to step up onto his arm, but the bird was too high up on the "tree" and dad was afraid it might not perch easily on him. The bird really wanted to visit him though, he kept lifting up his claw, but he wouldn't come down lower on it's tree. Anyhow, after they bought my toys and were leaving the store, my parents walked past the hyacinth tree and the bird leaped onto my dad and was hanging from the belt loops of his pants, hahaha. Dad was so scared at first, but eventually he got the hyacinth to perch on his arm and it nestled into his chest to be all cuddly. It then proceeded to bite the button of his shirt's front pocket off entirely =) One less button for me to devour, hehe. So now dad brags to mom that he's cool 'cause he's held a hyacinth, but mom says he's wrong, since the hyacinth was holding him!
